Ingredients

  • cucumbers
  • 2 bunches dill heads
  • 2 garlic buttons
  • 1 to 2 hot peppers per jar
  • 1 banana pepper (optional)
  • 2 qt. water
  • 1 qt. red vinegar

Instructions

  1. Pack cucumbers in jars.
  2. Add dill heads, garlic buttons, and hot peppers to the jars.
  3. Bring water, red vinegar, and salt to a boil.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the cucumbers in the jars and seal.
