Ingredients

  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Pour milk into a 4-cup glass measurer.
  2. Blend in next 6 ingredients, mixing well.
  3. Microwave 3 minutes.
  4. Beat smooth. Microwave 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until thick, stirring after 30 seconds.
  5. Stir a little warm mixture into egg yolk.
  6. Then pour egg yolk into hot mixture.
  7. Microwave on Medium 1 to 2 minutes until thick.
  8. Stir in vinegar and oil.
  9. Let cool.
