Coconut Krispie Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. chopped dates
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 small can coconut

Instructions

  1. Mix first 3 ingredients and add dates.
  2. Cook over low heat until dates dissolve.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add nuts and vanilla. Pour over Rice Krispies and shape into balls.
  5. Roll in coconut.
