Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Duncan Hines coconut surprise cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Crisco oil

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a large bowl, then beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 45 to 55 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly touched.
  4. Cool for 15 minutes right side up.
  5. Remove from pan.
