Cocotte Chicken

- Clean and cut the chicken into pieces and place it in a saucepan with the butter to brown a little. Cover and leave to cook.
- Cut the bacon into squares and saute in a frying pan. Add to the chicken.
- Also saute the shallots in a little olive oil and add to the chicken. Season with salt, pepper and saffron. Add the almonds and cook for 20 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Serve with white rice and green salad.
