Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups cold coffee
  • 2 cups whipping cream

Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar and milk.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
  3. Let stand until cool.
  4. Combine the cooled milk mixture, cold coffee, vanilla, and 1 cup of whipping cream.
  5. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan and freeze until slushy, about 1 to 2 hours.
  6. Beat the remaining whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  7. Stir the slush mixture to break it up.
  8. Spoon into dessert dishes and top with whipped cream.
