Ingredients

  • 1 gal. vinegar
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 c. pickling salt
  • 3 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. pickling spice
  • 1 c. dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Mix the vinegar, water, pickling salt, sugar, pickling spice, and dry mustard in a large pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
  3. Pour the hot brine over packed cucumbers in jars or containers.
