Ingredients

  • 1 (No. 2) can (2 1/2 cups) sour pie cherries
  • 1 (32 oz.) (2 1/2 cups) pineapple
  • 1/3 cup Minute tapioca
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain the sour cherries and set aside.
  2. Combine 2/3 cup of the cherry juice with the pineapple, tapioca, and sugar in a saucepan.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the tapioca becomes clear.
  4. Add the drained cherries to the mixture.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool or serve as desired.
