Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup popcorn
  • 1/8 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3 drops food coloring

Instructions

  1. Use an electric popcorn popper or a large covered saucepan on the stove.
  2. Heat the oil in the saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Add the popcorn and cover, cooking until popped, shaking occasionally.
  4. In a small saucepan, combine white sugar with a little water and heat until melted and bubbling.
  5. Divide the popped popcorn into separate bowls and add a few drops of food coloring to each.
  6. Pour the colored sugar mixture over the popcorn, tossing to coat evenly.
