Ingredients

  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 can red cherries, pitted
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 3 to 6 bananas, sliced
  • 2 baked pie shells
  • whipped topping
  • 2 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Drain juice from cherries and pineapple; add enough water to make 2 cups.
  2. Add sugar and cornstarch to water/juice mixture and cook until thick, stirring.
  3. Fold in fruit, nuts and almond extract.
  4. Pour into 2 baked pie shells and top with whipped topping.
