Ingredients

  • 2 c. coarsely chopped turkey
  • 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 1/2 c. diced red apple
  • 1/3 c. raisins
  • 1/3 c. plain yogurt or mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 lettuce leaves (butter lettuce)
  • 3 pita bread, halved

Instructions

  1. Combine turkey, celery, apple, raisins and yogurt in medium bowl.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Place one lettuce leaf in each pita half.
  4. Fill breads with turkey mixture, dividing evenly.
  5. Makes 6 servings.
