Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 1/3 cups crushed corn flake cereal
  • 2 cups biscuit baking mix
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Spread half of the melted butter in a 9 x 9 inch baking pan.
  3. Sprinkle with half of the crushed corn flake cereal.
  4. Stir the biscuit baking mix and cold water until soft dough forms.
  5. Beat vigorously for 20 strokes.
  6. Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto the cereal in the pan.
  7. Drizzle with the remaining melted butter.
  8. Press the remaining crushed cereal into the dough.
  9. Bake until light brown, about 12 to 15 minutes.
