Ingredients

  • 1 gal. corn, cut from cob (raw)
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the corn, water, sugar, and salt in a large pot.
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil and cook for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Remove from heat and chill in a pan set in ice, stirring occasionally while cooling.
