Ingredients

  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 8 chicken drumsticks

Instructions

  1. Put cornflakes into a plastic bag and close tightly.
  2. Use a rolling pin to crush the cornflakes into smaller pieces.
  3. Pour crushed cornflakes into a pie pan.
  4. Put butter into a skillet and melt on low heat.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in salt and pepper until well mixed.
  6. Rinse chicken drumsticks under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  7. Place chicken on waxed paper.
  8. Brush each chicken piece with melted butter.
  9. Roll each piece in the crushed cornflakes until coated.
  10. Arrange the coated chicken in a baking dish, ensuring pieces do not touch.
  11. Pour the remaining melted butter over the chicken.
  12. Bake in a 375°F oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown.
