Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix water and cornstarch together and cook until thick; set aside to cool.
  2. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla together; add to cooled cornstarch mixture.
  3. Beat with an electric mixer until it looks like whipped cream.
  4. This will frost a 2 layer (9-inch) cake.
