Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. soft shortening
  • 3/4 c. sour milk
  • 3 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Chill for 2 hours.
  3. Roll out and cut doughnuts.
  4. Fry in hot oil.
