Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sausage
  • 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
  • 1 or 2 Tbsp. picante sauce

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage, cook and drain.
  2. Pat the sausage dry with paper towels.
  3. Over low heat, melt Velveeta, grated cheese, and sausage together.
  4. Add picante sauce and stir well.
  5. Microwave the mixture if desired to melt further.
  6. Pour the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  7. Let the dip stand until cooled.
  8. Cut into 1 1/2-inch squares when ready to serve.
