- Cook cranberries following the instructions on the bag, either separating half or cooking half, reducing sugar and water by half.
- While cranberries are simmering, add the tangerine peel to the water.
- Squeeze some juice from the tangerine into the water.
- Remove the tangerine peel from the water.
- When cranberries are done, let cool.
- Add the mashed banana to the cranberries and mix thoroughly.
- Chill the sauce before serving.
