Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh cranberries
  • 2 medium-sized, unpeeled apples
  • 2 tsp. grated orange rind
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Wash cranberries and apples well.
  2. Cut apples into quarters and remove cores.
  3. Put cranberries and apples through a blender or food processor using a medium blade.
  4. Stir in grated orange rind, lemon juice, sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and ground cloves.
  5. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight to blend flavors.
