Cran-Cherry Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Dark Raisins
  • 1-1/2 cup Fresh Cranberries
  • 1 can (21 Oz. Size) Cherry Pie Filling, Extra Fruit
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoons Fresh Grated Nutmeg
  • 1/3 cups White Vinegar
  • 1 Small Orange Seeded And Finely Chopped (use All Of The Orange)

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 20 minutes until the cranberries pop. Cool, pour into serving bowl and refrigerate several hours to blend flavors. Can be kept up to 2 weeks. Put in decorative jars and give as gifts. They WILL ask you to make this every year!
