Ingredients

  • 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
  • small box cherry Jell-O
  • can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Drain the liquid from the pineapple, reserving 1 cup of juice.
  2. Bring the pineapple juice to a boil in a saucepan.
  3. Remove from heat and add the cherry Jell-O, stirring until dissolved.
  4. Add the can of whole cranberry sauce and mix well.
  5. Stir in the pineapple, chopped celery, and nuts (if using).
  6. Pour the mixture into a serving dish or Jell-O mold.
  7. Chill until set before serving.
