Ingredients

  • 2 c. instant nonfat dry milk
  • 2 Tbsp. dry onion flakes
  • 3/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. instant chicken bouillon (low salt)
  • 1 tsp. dry basil
  • 1 tsp. dry thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Store in a fruit jar in the cabinet.
  3. To reconstitute, use 1/3 cup of mix with 1 1/4 cups water per can of soup.
  4. Stir over low heat until thick.
  5. Add desired vegetables such as celery, broccoli, or mushrooms for specific soup flavors.
