Crescent Canapes

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. crescent rolls
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 c. onion, chopped fine
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Soften cream cheese and combine all ingredients except rolls.
  3. Open rolls and divide into 4 rectangles.
  4. Divide cream cheese mixture into fourths and spread on rectangles.
  5. Roll up lengthwise and cut into 8 pieces.
  6. Brush with beaten egg whites and sprinkle on poppy or sesame seed (optional).
  7. Bake on cookie sheet for 20 minutes.
  8. Makes 32 canapes.
