Crockery Ham

Ingredients

  • 5 to 7 lb. cooked ham butt or shank
  • whole cloves
  • 1/2 c. currant jelly
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Place ham on metal rack or trivet in slow cooking pot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
  3. Remove ham.
  4. Pour off juices; remove rind. Score ham; stud with whole cloves.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt jelly with remaining ingredients.
  6. Remove rack and return ham to pot.
  7. Spoon sauce over ham.
  8. Cover and cook on high for 25 minutes basting ham often.
