Ingredients

  • 7 to 8 peaches, peeled and halved
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 heaping Tbsp. flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. boiling water
  • dash of almond flavoring

Instructions

  1. Lay peeled and halved peaches in the pie crust, cut side up.
  2. Mix salt, flour, and sugar together in a bowl.
  3. Cut in margarine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add boiling water and almond flavoring to the mixture and stir well.
  5. Pour the mixture evenly over the peaches.
  6. Sprinkle cinnamon over the top.
  7. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes.
  8. Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 30 to 40 minutes until golden and bubbling.
