Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. catfish fillets
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
  • 3/4 c. finely minced pecans
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Thaw catfish if frozen.
  2. Rinse in cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix milk and Dijon-style mustard.
  4. Dip the catfish fillets into the milk and mustard mixture.
  5. Roll the dipped fish in finely minced pecans to coat evenly.
  6. Place the coated fillets into a shallow, buttered baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until cooked through and crusty.
  9. Garnish with lemon wedges if desired.
