Curry turnovers combine savory ground beef with aromatic curry flavors, water chestnuts, and green onions, wrapped in crescent rolls for a delicious snack or appetizer perfect for parties.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 12 water chestnuts, finely chopped
  • 2 stalks green onion, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. curry powder
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. oil
  • 3 tubes prepared refrigerator crescent rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven according to crescent roll package instructions.
  2. Mix ground beef, chopped water chestnuts, green onions, curry powder, sugar, ketchup, salt, and oil in a bowl.
  3. Unroll crescent rolls and separate into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto each crescent roll triangle.
  5. Roll up the triangles to enclose the filling, forming turnovers.
  6. Place turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 12-15 minutes.
  8. Serve warm with optional dipping sauces.
