Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 cups flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  2. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Work the dough into a ball by rolling it in the palm of your hand.
  4. Ensure the dumplings are about the size of a baseball, slightly larger than an egg.
  5. Drop the dumplings into boiling water.
  6. Cook for several minutes, then remove one dumpling and cut it in half to check if it is cooked through.
  7. If raw in the middle, cook a little longer, but avoid overcooking to prevent them from becoming hard.
