Ingredients

  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 1/2 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter

Instructions

  1. Spread one can of apple pie filling evenly in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle with half of the yellow cake mix over the apple filling.
  3. Melt the butter and pour it evenly over the cake mix layer.
  4. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  5. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream.
