Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. Cream oleo and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  3. Alternate adding flour and baking powder, beginning and ending with flour.
  4. Add half of the flour and half of the milk, beat well.
  5. Repeat with remaining flour and milk, mixing until smooth.
  6. Fill muffin tins 3/4 full.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes on the middle rack.
  8. Cool on wire rack before serving.
