Date Crisps

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • Angel Flake coconut

Instructions

  1. Bring the margarine and sugar to a boil.
  2. Add the egg and dates.
  3. Cook 10 minutes on very low heat. Cool. Add the Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla.
  4. Make into small balls or a log.
  5. Roll in the coconut.
