Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2/3 c. dates
  • 2/3 c. nuts
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cook until forms soft ball.
  2. Let stand 25 minutes. Beat until creamy. Add chopped nuts and dates. Roll in damp cloth and chill. Slice.
