Date-Rice Krispie Roll

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 2 well-beaten eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 3 c. Rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Cook butter or margarine, beaten eggs, sugar and dates over low heat for 5 to 8 minutes; stir constantly.
  2. Cool slightly.
  3. Add nuts and Rice Krispies; mix well.
  4. Shape into rolls.
  5. (Very sticky, grease hands.)
  6. Roll in powdered sugar.
  7. Chill.
