Date Tapioca Pudding

Instructions
- Combine tapioca, water, sugar, and dates in a small Dutch oven; stir well. Let stand 5 minutes.
- Bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat; chill 1 hour. Stir in pecans. Chill until serving time.
- Spoon into serving dishes, and top with whipped cream.
