- Cream butter and sugar together until well blended.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Mix in the butter and sugar mixture, then add flour, almond extract, and candied fruits.
- Butter and flour a loaf pan or a Bundt pan to prevent sticking.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 1 1/2 hours, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes.
