Creamy, cheesy sausage balls with a crispy exterior, perfect for parties or snacks. They're easy to make, freeze well, and appeal to cheese and sausage lovers alike.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 lb. cheese (either cubed Velveeta or shredded Cheddar)
  • 3 cups Bisquick

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well, using hands is the easiest way to do it.
  2. Make rounded teaspoonful size balls.
  3. Place on cookie sheets.
  4. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes until browned.
  5. To freeze, place balls on cookie sheet, freeze, then transfer to Ziploc bag.
  6. When ready to bake, bake from frozen, increasing time to about 15 minutes.
