Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Combine cornstarch, flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, water, and egg to form a smooth batter.
  2. Dip fresh vegetables into the batter until evenly coated.
  3. Deep-fry the coated vegetables in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
