Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 large potatoes, cut in chunks
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 2 large carrots, sliced
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • water

Instructions

  1. Peel and prepare the vegetables.
  2. In a large saucepan, saute the onion in margarine until clear.
  3. Add the potatoes, celery, carrots, and 2 teaspoons of salt to the saucepan.
  4. Cover with water and cook until the vegetables are tender.
