A rich and creamy chocolate trifle layered with moist cake, chocolate pudding, Cool Whip, and fresh bananas, perfect for impressing guests or indulging in a decadent treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cake, cooled and cut into 1-inch squares
  • 2 large instant chocolate pudding mixes
  • 5 cups milk
  • 12 oz Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chocolate pudding by mixing the instant pudding mix with 5 cups of milk until thickened.
  2. Cut the cooled chocolate cake into 1-inch squares.
  3. In a trifle bowl or tall clear bowl, layer the cake pieces, pudding, Cool Whip, and sliced bananas.
  4. Repeat the layers until the bowl is filled, ending with a layer of Cool Whip on top.
  5. Just before serving, slice bananas and arrange on top of the trifle.
