Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cabbage, chopped coarse
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 4 oz grated cheese
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Steam or boil the chopped cabbage for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped onion and steam or boil for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Drain the mixture and place it in a 2-quart casserole dish.
  4. Add the cream of celery soup, grated cheese, salt, and pepper to the casserole.
  5. Mix everything well to combine.
  6. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top of the casserole.
  7. Bake in a 350°F oven for 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
