Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake according to the directions on the box in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely.
  3. Cut the cooled cake into 1/2-inch cubes.
  4. Soak the cake cubes in Kahlua overnight.
  5. Prepare chocolate mousse as directed.
  6. Layer in a large bowl: 2 to 3 layers of cake cubes, mousse, Cool Whip, and candy (almond bars), repeating the layers.
  7. End with a layer of Cool Whip and candy on top.
  8. Chill the assembled dessert overnight before serving.
