Deviled Egg Chickpea Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons mustard (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons sandwich spread (such as Kraft(R))
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix chickpeas and minced garlic together in a large food processor or bowl of a stand mixer until mostly mashed. Add mayonnaise, mustard, sandwich spread, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Add eggs and mix until blended to desired consistency.
