Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 cups fruit and juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in a 9 x 12-inch casserole dish.
  2. Make batter by mixing 1 cup sugar, flour, salt, baking powder, and milk.
  3. Pour batter into the melted margarine in the casserole dish.
  4. Add fruit and juice over the batter.
  5. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar; do not stir.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
