Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Pour 1/4 teaspoon salad oil into each cup of the popover pan.
  3. Preheat the pan to sizzling hot.
  4. Beat all ingredients with a rotary beater at full speed until smooth.
  5. Pour batter into the pans, filling about half full.
  6. Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to 350°F and bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
  8. Serve the popovers hot, great with gravy or spreads.
