Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Remove fresh corn from the cob along with the husks and leaves.
  2. Save the husks (shucks) for wrapping the corn balls.
  3. Grate the fresh corn kernels into a bowl.
  4. Add a little hot water or corn juice to the grated corn.
  5. Mix in a small amount of soda and form the mixture into balls.
  6. Wrap each corn ball in a husk and tie securely with string or use toothpicks to hold shut.
  7. Drop the wrapped corn balls into boiling water.
  8. Cook for about 20 minutes or until the corn balls are tender.
