Ingredients

  • 1 baked pie shell
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • strawberries

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and cornstarch in heavy saucepan.
  2. Add water and stir.
  3. Boil for 2 minutes.
  4. Add jello, butter, lemon and stir slowly until jello dissolves.
  5. Clean strawberries; halve or quarter them.
  6. Place in shell (amount optional).
  7. Pour glaze over; chill.
  8. Serve with whipped topping.
