Ingredients

  • 2 lb. rolled pork roast
  • 1 orange, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 part bourbon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pork roast in the oven and pour about half of the 7 and 7 drink over it.
  3. Season the roast with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Roast for 45 minutes.
  5. Remove the roast from the oven.
  6. Pat the brown sugar evenly over the entire roast.
  7. Place orange slices over the roast and secure with toothpicks.
  8. Pour the remaining 7 and 7 over the roast.
  9. Return the roast to the oven and continue baking until desired doneness, basting every 15 to 20 minutes.
