Ingredients

  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 3/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Roll out the dough very thin and cut into 1 1/2 inch squares.
  2. Prick each square with a fork.
  3. Drop the squares into boiling broth.
  4. Simmer for 12 minutes without removing the lid from the pot.
