Easter Strawberries

Colorful and festive, these strawberry-shaped confections combine coconut, nuts, and sweet gelatin, perfect for spring celebrations and Easter gatherings, appealing to both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ground nuts
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 (7 oz.) package shredded coconut
  • 2 (3 oz.) packages strawberry gelatin
  • 1 box red tinted sugar

Instructions

  1. Mix the strawberry gelatin, ground nuts, and shredded coconut with the Eagle Brand milk.
  2. Shape the mixture into strawberries.
  3. Refrigerate until cold and firm.
  4. Dip the top of each strawberry into green tinted sugar to resemble leaves.
  5. Roll the strawberries in red sugar to coat.
  6. Optional: soak slivered almonds in green food coloring and use for stems.
