Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 can mandarin oranges

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the yellow cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  3. Drain the mandarin oranges, reserving the juice.
  4. Add the orange juice to the cake batter to make the total liquid 1 1/4 cups.
  5. Gently fold in the mandarin oranges into the batter.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
